About Paula's Country Kitchen and Paula Hernick

Paula Hernick started Paula's Country Kitchen 9 years ago in Averill Park. We are open six days a week.

My goal is to bring you homemade sandwiches, soups, chili, salads, and entrée dinners for those busy mornings to the nights to make your life a little easier. Everything I make is homemade right-down to my cold deli Turkey, Ham and Roast Beef, just like you'd make for you and your family.

Breakfast sandwiches are made to order and are served all day hot & fresh. WIy specials change daily, using what is in season so l can pass on local goods to I buy locally made high quality cheeses, and many more wonderful deli items your table.

All my meats and cheeses are also sold by the pound. My pot pies and meatballs are among the many specials that I offer. Catering is also available to help make your upcoming holiday or special occasions easier and tastier. My wonderful husband Ray and our beautiful daughter Victoria (Vicki) are always helping us out with their enthusiasm, love of hard work, and their joy for food.

Young's Pharmacy & General Store is a local standard of service, excellence and professional service, and I am so proud to be part of this warm and friendly atmosphere. Come in and join our family. There are two great businesses in one historic building.
